Federal Communications Commission DA 22-xxx DA 26-231 Released: March 10, 2026 FCC ANNOUNCES THE SEVENTH MEETING OF THE NINTH COMMUNICATIONS SECURITY, RELIABILITY, AND INTEROPERABILITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 24, 2026 This Public Notice serves as an announcement that, consistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1014. the Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) will hold the seventh and final meeting of the Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council IX (CSRIC IX or Council) on March 24, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm EDT, at FCC headquarters, 45 L Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., and via video conference call. Notice of this meeting was published in the Federal Register on March 4, 2026. FCC, Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council, Notice of Public Meeting, 91 FR 10605 (March 4, 2026). At the seventh meeting, three reports will be presented for deliberation and a vote: Report on Best Practices for the Use of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Systems Specifically Intended for Public Safety Network; Report on Recommendations for Preventing Adverse Impacts on PSAPs and NG911 from 911 Calls Made Through Alternative Network Options; and Report on Potential Security and Reliability Risks in 6G and Recommendations for Mitigation. The CSRIC IX meeting is open to the public, but all guests must check-in with and be screened by FCC security at the main entrance on L Street NE. Attendees will not be required to have an appointment but must otherwise comply with protocols outlined at: https://www.fcc.gov/visit. Members of the news media are welcome to attend the meeting.
