Lifeline and Link Up Reform and Modernization et al., WC Docket No. 11-42 et al., Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 26-8 (Feb. 23, 2026) (Notice). In the Notice, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) seeks comment on reforms in the Lifeline program to ensure that federal dollars go to eligible Americans, enhance program integrity, ensure that service providers comply with the Commission’s rules and regulations, and streamline Lifeline rules. The Notice set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 30 and 60 days after the date of publication of the summary of the Notice in the Federal Register. See Notice at 46, para. 115.
