Federal Communications Commission "FCC/DA XX-XXX" DA 26-779 Released: July 27, 2026 NOTICE OF DOMESTIC SECTION 214 APPLICATION GRANTED SUBJECT TO CONDITION WC Docket No. 26-56 The Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) grants, as conditioned, the application listed in this Public Notice pursuant to the Commission’s streamlined procedures for domestic section 214 transfer of control applications, 47 CFR § 63.03. The Bureau determined that a grant of this application serves the public interest. Implementation of Further Streamlining Measures for Domestic Section 214 Authorizations, Report and Order, 17 FCC Rcd 5517, 5529, para. 22 (2002). On July 1, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice, on behalf of the Committee for the Assessment of Foreign Participation in the United States Telecommunications Services Sector (Committee), filed a letter stating that a referral of the application to the Committee was not necessary, and in making this determination, considered among several factors, the applicants’ commitment to abide by the May 22, 2026 Letter of Agreement (2026 LOA) and the applicants’ request that the May 2026 LOA be made a condition of the license. Consistent with the grant of a related international 214 application, and as requested by the applicants, we condition grant of the domestic application (WC Docket No. 26-56) on the applicants’ continued compliance with the 2026 LOA. A failure to comply with and/or remain in compliance with this condition shall constitute a failure to meet a condition of this authorization and thus grounds for declaring this authorization terminated without further action on the part of the Commission. Failure to meet this condition may also result in monetary sanctions or other enforcement action by the Commission. For the purposes of computation of time when filing a petition for reconsideration or application for review, or for judicial review of the Commission’s decision, the date of “public notice” shall be the release date of this Public Notice. Should no petition for reconsideration, application for review, or petition for judicial review be timely filed, the proceeding listed in this Public Notice shall be terminated, and the docket will be closed.
