Ameritech Operating Companies (Ameritech) filed the above-captioned tariff revisions to implement its Open Network Architecture (ONA) Plan. as required by the Commission's Part 69 ONA Order. 1 On December '27, 1991, the Common Carrier Bureau (Bureau) suspended Ameritech"s tariff revisions for one day, imposed an ac­ counting order, and instituted an investigation into their rates. 2 2. Ameritech, Bell Atlantic Telephone Companies. BellSouth Telephone Companies. GTE Telephone Operat­ ing Companies, NYNEX Telephone Companies. Pacific Bell Telephone Companies. Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, United Telephone System, and US West, Inc .. last year filed petitions for waiver of Part 69 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. Part 69. to establish rate elements for transmission services connecting customers to the carriers' common channel signaling networks (CCS) and to establish rate elements for access to the data in their line information databases (LIDS). The above carriers also filed tariffs for access to the CCS networks and to LIDB. On December 30, 1991. the Bureau granted the requested waivers to the extent that they complied with the Southwestern Bell LIDB Order, 3 suspended the carriers' CCS and LIDE access charges for one day. im­ posed an accounting order. and instituted an investigation into their rates.4 1 Amendments of Part 69 of the Commission's Rules Relating to the Creation of Access Charge Subelements for Open Net­ work Architecture, CC Docket No. 8979, Report and Order. Section l.113(a) of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. § l.113(a), provides in pertinent part that "[w]ithin 30 days after public notice has been given of any action taken pursuant to delegated authority, the person, panel, or board taking the action may modify or set it aside on its own motion." Accordingly, the Bureau hereby modi­ fies the Ameritech ONA Tariff Order by substituting the following paragraph for paragraph 51. New paragraph 51 reads as follows: 51. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4(i) and 204(a) of the Communications Act of 1934, 47 U.S.C. §§ 154(i), 204(a), and Section 0.291 of the Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R. § 0.291. Ameritech Operating Companies SHALL KEEP ACCURATE ACCOUNT of all amounts received that are associated with the rates that are the subject of this investigation. 4. Also pursuant to Section l.l 13(a) of the Commis­ sion's Rules. 47 C.F.R. § l.113(a), the Bureau hereby modifies the LEC LIDB Order by substituting the follow­ ing paragraph for paragraph 59. New paragraph 59 reads as follows: 59. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4(i) and 204(a) of the Communications Act of 1934, 47 U.S.C. §§ 154(i), 204(a). and Section 0.291 of the Commission's Rules. 47 C.F.R. § 0.291.
