(AT&T) is authorized to: a. convey to its correspondent in Saudi Arabia on an Indefeasible Right of User (IRU) basis a one-half interest in 2 MIUs1 of capacity in the COLUMBUS II Cable System between West Palm Beach, Florida and Palermo, Italy; b. convey to Telefonica de Espana on an IRU basis a one-half interest in 60 MAUOs2 of capacity in the TCS-1 Cable System between Puerto Rico and Co lombia. 1 A MIU is a unit designated as the minimum unit of invest ment in the COLUMBUS II, TAT-11 and TAT-10 Cable Sys tems, allowing the use of 2.048 Mbps and the additional 162,539.68 bps required for multiplexing in each direction. 2 A MAUO is a 64-kbps circuit equivalent.
