AMERITECH AND NECA FILE
REVISIONS TO THEIR COST ALLOCATION MANUALS 
PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED

Ameritech and NECA filed revisions to their cost allocation manuals (CAMs) for the separation 
of regulated and nonregulated costs. Among the revisions filed by Ameritech were those resulting from 
the deregulation of inmate only payphones. NECA's CAM revisions, among other things, established 
new cost pools for their computer operations. The Ameritech and NECA CAM revision filings have 
been assigned AAD numbers 96-97 and 96-98, respectively.
Parties may file comments on the proposed CAM revisions no later than October 23, 1996. 
Replies should be filed by November 7, 1996. Comments should reference the applicable AAD file 
numbers listed above. A copy of each pleading should be sent to Edward Dashkin, FCC, Common
