PACIFIC BELL FILES PETITION FOR WAIVER OF SECTION 32.13 OF THE
COMMISSION'S ACCOUNTING RULES 
PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED
On May 15, 1997, Pacific Bell filed an amended Petition for Waiver of Section 32.13(e) 
of the Commission's rules. This amendment clarifies Pacific Bell's original filing of October 31, 
1996. Pacific Bell seeks a waiver so that it can record affiliate transactions on its Part 32 books 
in accordance with State of California valuation requirements rather than using the FCC's 
valuation requirements. This Petition for Waiver has been assigned AAD number 97-74.
Parties may file comments on Pacific Bell's Waiver request no later than July 7, 1997. 
Replies should be filed by July 22,1997. Comments should reference AAD file number 97-74.
