On March 21,1997, CAI Wireless Systems, Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary Atlantic Microsystems, Inc., and its majority-owned affiliate CS Wireless Systems, Inc. (collectively "CAI"), filed petitions to deny applications of the above-referenced applicants for broadband PCS licenses in the D, E, and F block. Oppositions to these petitions were due no later than April 15, 1997. 2. On April 15, 1997, CAI filed a Motion for Extension of Time to file replies to these oppositions. CAI states that due to the multiplichy of applications, it requires an additional two weeks to respond adequately to the issues raised in the oppositions. 21519 Federal Communications Commission DA 97-822 3. We conclude that the public interest would be served by granting CATs Motion for Extension of Time to April 29, 1997, provided that CAI files a single, consolidated reply in connection with the oppositions filed by the above-referenced applicants. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that, pursuant to Section 1.46 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. § 1.46, CATs deadline for filing a reply to the oppositions filed by the above-captioned applicants IS 'to April 29, 19%.
