The Commission's Competitive Pricing Division Grants BellSouth's Petition for Temporary 
Waiver from Cross-Check Requirement Regarding Primary and Non-Primary Lines

BellSouth filed a petition for waiver on June 7, 1999, pursuant to Section 1.3 of the 
Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R.. § 1,3, asking the Commission to waive until October 1, 1999, a 
requirement that price cap LECs cross-check their records to ascertain the appropriate classification of 
primary residential lines. No comments were filed in opposition to this petition. The Competitive 
Pricing Division of the Common Carrier Bureau granted this waiver on July 1, 1999.
