 OBSOLETES  FCC  FORM  574 
 Effective  March  1,  2000,  FCC  Form  574  is  obsolete  and  will  no  longer  be  accepted  for 
 filing.  This  form  was  previously  used  by  Part  95  applicants  in  the  General  Mobile  Radio 
 Service  (GMRS)  and  the  218-  219  MHz  Service  (formerly  known  as  the  Interactive 
 Video  Data  Service  or  IVDS). 


 GMRS  was  converted  to  the  Universal  Licensing  System  (ULS)  on  April  19,  1999. 
 Effective  August  12,  1999,  GMRS  applicants  must  file  FCC  Form  605  for  all  licensing 
 activity.  See  Public  Notice  DA  99-  653  released  October  15,  1999  for  further 
 information,  or  visit  the  Commission’s  ULS  website  at  http://  www.  fcc.  gov/  wtb/  uls. 


 218-  219  MHz  Service  applicants  should  use  FCC  Form  600  in  lieu  of  FCC  Form  574. 
 The  two-  letter  radio  service  code  for  the  218-  219  MHz  Service  is  “ZV”.  Filings  in  this 
 service  submitted  on  FCC  Form  574  on  or  after  March  1,  2000  will  be  dismissed.
