The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau implemented this change effective with Commission receipts of January 13, 2001. Part 80 Maritime Coast applications for new or renewed authorizations received on or after January 13, 2001 resulting in a subsequent granted authorization will receive a 10 year license term. These licenses were previously authorized for a 5 year term. Part 80 Maritime Coast applications for New, Renewal, or Renew/ Mod received on or after January 13, 2001, and requiring payment of regulatory fees at the time of application filing, must be accompanied by regulatory payment for 10 years in lieu of 5 years. The changes affect Payment/ Fee Type Code PBMR only. The new fee amount required is $165.00. Applications received with insufficient payment will not be accepted for filing.
