 Re:  MD/  DC/  DE  Broadcasters  Associations  et  al.,  v.  FCC 
 Petition  for  Rehearing 


 Today,  the  FCC  petitioned  the  D.  C.  Circuit  Court  for  a  partial  rehearing  of  its  January  16,  2001,  opinion  invalidating  our  EEO  outreach  rules  for  broadcasters.  While  I  support  the 
 submission  as  far  as  it  goes,  I  am  disappointed  the  Commission  declined  to  seek  review  of  the  entire  decision.
