 STATEMENT  OF  FCC  COMMISSIONER  SUSAN  NESS  ON  NCTA 
 VOLUNTARY  COMPLIANCE  WITH  EQUAL  EMPLOYMENT  OPPORTUNITY  RULES 


 I  applaud  the  NCTA’s  recent  decision  to  voluntarily  adopt  equal  employment  opportunity 
 standards  based  on  the  FCC’s  EEO  rules.  The  members  of  NCTA’s  board  represent  some 
 of  the  most  successful  businesses  in  America  today,  and  by  reaching  out  to  women  and 
 minorities  in  a  spirit  of  inclusion,  those  companies  demonstrate  that  diversity  and 
 profitability  can  go  hand  in  hand.
