 CONSOLIDATION  OF  SATELLITE  EARTH  STATION  FILES  IN  THE 
 REFERENCE  INFORMATION  CENTER 


 By  this  Public  Notice,  the  Reference  Information  Center  (RIC)  informs  the  general  public  of  the 
 consolidation  of  the  Satellite  Earth  Station  (SES)  files. 


 In  the  past,  RIC  required  a  request  for  these  files  to  be  submitted  using  the  SES  file  number 
 associated  with  a  particular  application.  With  the  exception  of  Special  Temporary  Authority 
 (STA)  requests,  RIC  will  now  require  your  request  for  Satellite  Earth  Station  files  to  be 
 submitted  using  the  assigned  callsign. 


 Users  can  easily  identify  callsigns  associated  with  SES  filings  by  accessing  the  International 
 Bureau  Application  Filing  and  Reporting  System  (IBFS)  search  tools.  To  find  the  search  tool, 
 users  should  go  to  the  IBFS  homepage  (www.  fcc.  gov/  ibfs)  and  click  on  the  button  labeled 
 “Search  Tools”.  Users  will  then  have  several  search  options,  including  a  search  by  file  number 
 or  a  general  query  tool  that  allows  for  searches  by  company  name,  type  of  application,  date  filed, 
 location  of  a  station  and  other  criteria.  For  more  information  or  technical  assistance  regarding 
 IBFS,  please  contact  the  IBFS  HelpLine  at  202-  418-  2222.  Callsigns  will  begin  with  the  letters 
 E,  K  or  W. 


 We  strongly  encourage  you  to  use  IBFS  for  this  and  other  International  Bureau  information.  For
