SAT- STA- 20010608- 00049 PANAMSAT LICENSEE CORPORATION Special Temporary Authority PanAmSat Licensee Corp. has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority to relocate its PAS- 6 satellite from 68.5° E. L. to 68.44° E. L. PanAmSat seeks authority for a period of 180 days, beginning on June 15, 2001. PanAmSat is preparing to transfer traffic from PAS- 6 to PAS- 24. The latter spacecraft has been undergoing in- orbit testing at 72° E. L., and will be relocated in the near future to 68.5° E. L., the regularly- assigned orbital location for both PAS- 6 and PAS- 24.
