 This  erratum  corrects  the  order  modifying  Hughes’  license  to  include  authority  for  links  with  earth  stations 
 in  foreign  countries,  Hughes  Communications  Galaxy,  Inc.,  DA  01-  1457,  released  June  19,  2001.  The 
 order  incorrectly  required  Hughes  to  coordinate  with  licensees  of  non-  geostationary  systems  regarding 
 operation  in  the  27.  5-  28.  35  GHz  band  and  incorrectly  required  it  to  coordinate  proposed  operation  in  the 
 17.  7-  18.  3  GHz  band  only  with  licensees  of  systems  already  operating  in  that  band.  1  We  are  therefore 
 amending  the  third  sub-  paragraph  in  Paragraph  3  of  Order  and  Authorization  DA  01-  1457  to  read  as 
 follows: 


 x  When  requesting  international  coordination  of  proposed  use  of  frequencies  in  the  17.  7-  18.  3  GHz  band 
 for  downlinks  to  earth  stations  in  foreign  countries,  Hughes  shall  certify  in  an  affidavit  filed  with  the 
 Commission’s  Satellite  and  Radiocommunication  Division  that  it  has  coordinated  the  proposed 
 operation  with  other  licensees  with  authority  from  this  Commission  for  non-  U.  S.  geostationary  or  non-geostationary 
 satellite  operation  in  that  band.  When  requesting  international  coordination  of  proposed 
 use  of  frequencies  in  the  27.5-  28.35  GHz  band  for  links  with  earth  stations  in  foreign  countries, 
 Hughes  shall  certify  that  it  has  coordinated  the  proposed  operation  with  other  licensees  with  authority 
 from  the  Commission  for  non-  U.  S.  geostationary  satellite  operation  in  that  band.  The  filing  shall 
 include  certification  of  service  on  the  licensees  with  whom  such  coordination  is  required.
