 FCC  BEGINS  TO  MAIL  PUBLIC  NOTICES  FOR  ASSESSMENT  AND  COLLECTION  OF 
 REGULATORY  FEES  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR  2001 


 Washington  DC  –  The  FCC  announces  that  it  will  begin  mailing  public  notices  to  licensees 
 and  permittees  informing  them  that  FY  2001  regulatory  fees  payments  may  be  submitted  at  any  time 
 through  September  21,  2001.  As  in  previous  years,  there  will  be  a  formal  window  between 
 September  10,  2001  and  September  21,  2001  for  the  acceptance  of  regulatory  fees.  However,  for  the 
 convenience  of  payers,  the  Commission  will  accept  fee  payments  at  any  time  prior  to  this  window. 
 Payments  that  are  received  after  11:  59  PM  on  September  21,  2001,  however,  will  be  assessed  a  25% 
 late  payment  fee.  The  public  notices  can  also  be  viewed  on  the  FCC’s  website  at: 
 www.  fcc.  gov/  fees/  regfees/  2001regfees.
