 INDIAN  TELECOM  TRAINING  INITIATIVE  2001  MEETING  POSTPONED 
 Meeting  Was  Scheduled  for  September  23-  26  in  Las  Vegas 


 Washington,  DC  –  The  FCC  and  the  National  Exchange  Carrier  Association  (NECA)  are 
 postponing  the  Indian  Telecom  Training  Initiative  (ITTI)  2001  meeting  scheduled  for  September 
 23  through  26  in  Las  Vegas. 


 ITTI  2001  is  an  educational  and  networking  event  that  will  allow  American  Indian 
 leaders,  telecommunications  providers  and  government  officials  to  discuss  ways  to  increase 
 access  to  telecommunications  services  in  Indian  Country. 


 The  new  date  for  the  meeting  will  be  announced  as  soon  as  it  is  established.
