On November 5, 2001, the Commission released a Report and Order in CC Docket Nos. 00- 199, 97- 212, and 80- 286 and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in CC Docket Nos. 00- 199, 99- 301, and 80- 286. This errata corrects the following errors in the released text: 2. In paragraph 231, “Parts 32 and 64” is replaced by “Parts 32, 43, 51, 54, 64, 65, and 69,” so that the new paragraph will read as follows: Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to sections 1, 4, 201- 205, 215, and 218- 220 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. C. sections 151, 154, 201- 205, 215, and 218- 220, Parts 32, 43, 51, 54, 64, 65, and 69 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C. F. R. Parts 32, 43, 51, 54, 64, 65, and 69, are amended as described above and in Appendix F below. 3. In paragraph 232, “January 1, 2001” is replaced by “January 1, 2002,” so that the new paragraph will read as follows: IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, pursuant to section 220( g) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U. S. In Appendix F – Final Rules, the text for new section 32.2424 Submarine & deep sea cable, subsection (a), will include the subparagraphs (1) and (2), which have not been changed. The new section 32.2424 Submarine and deep sea cable, subsection (a), will read as follows: (a) This account shall include the original cost of submarine cable and deep sea cable and other material used in the construction of such plant. Subsidiary record categories, as defined below, are to be maintained for nonmetallic submarine and deep sea cable. (1) Nonmetallic cable. This subsidiary record category shall include the original cost of optical fiber cable and other associated material used in constructing a physical path for the transmission of telecommunications signals. (2) Metallic cable. This subsidiary record category shall include the original cost of single or paired conductor cable, wire and other associated material used in constructing a physical path for the transmission of telecommunications signals. 5. In Appendix F – Final Rules, “§ 32. 3400 Current accounts and notes payable” is replaced by “§ 32.4000 Current accounts and notes payable.” 6.
