On December 21, 2001, the Commission adopted the Report and Order and Memorandum Opinion and Order in the above- captioned proceeding. That Order was released on January 2, 1002. By this Errata Notice, several minor errors are corrected as follows: (a) Amend paragraph 80 by changing “92- 255” to “99- 255”. (b) Amend 47 C. F. R. § 1. 924 by replacing “paragraph (f)” with “paragraph (g) in the amendatory language and the rule. (c) Amend the amendatory language for 47 C. F. R. § 2.106 by replacing “footnote US317” with “footnotes US274 and US317” in paragraph b, and by removing the phrase “and remove footnote G123” in paragraph d. (d) Amend 47 C. F. R. § 2.106 as follows: (i) In the 216- 220 MHz band, replace the “MOBILE” allocation listing with “MOBILE except aeronautical mobile”, remove the allocation listing for “aeronautical mobile,” and remove the reference to US274. (ii) Replace US210 with, “In the bands 40.66- 40. 7 MHz and 216- 220 MHz, frequencies may be authorized to Government and non- Government stations on a secondary basis for the tracking of, and telemetering of scientific data from, ocean buoys and wildlife. Operation in these bands is subject to the technical standards specified in: (a) Section 8.2.42 of the NTIA Manual for Government use, or (b) 47 C. F. R. § 90. 248 for non- Government use. After January 1, 2002, no new assignments shall be authorized in the band 216- 217 MHz.” 1 Federal Communications Commission 2 (iii) Replace NG173 with, “In the band 216- 220 MHz, secondary telemetry operations are permitted subject to the requirements of 47 C. F. R. § 90. 259. After January 1, 2002, no new assignments shall be authorized in the band 216- 217 MHz.” (iv) In G2 replace “220- 225” with “216- 225”. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that this Erratum is issued pursuant to Section 0.241 of the Commission’s rules on delegated authority, 47 C. F. R. § 0. 241.
