Section 9( a) of the Communications Act, as amended, authorizes the Commission to assess and collect annual regulatory fees to recover the costs of its enforcement, policy and rulemaking, international, and user information activities. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking identifies the proposed fee amounts for each fee category. This information will be published in the Federal Register and will be available on the FCC’s website at: www. fcc. gov/ fees/ regfees/ 2002regfees.
