C. - The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau announces that, as part of the Federal Communications Commission’s reorganization, a new website has been created for Instructional Television Fixed Service (ITFS) and Multipoint Distribution Service (MDS). The new site can be found at http:// wireless. fcc. gov/ services/ itfs& mds/. At the site, the public will be able to learn about recent developments in the services as well as any changes that will occur as part of the transition from the former Mass Media Bureau to the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. The new website provides sections devoted to licensing, operations, and two- way communications. The site also offers a brief history of the services. In addition, public notices, news releases, and other officially released documents affecting ITFS and MDS licensees are presented in an easy- to- read format. In the licensing section, users are able to quickly access the Broadband Licensing System (BLS). Information is also provided on filing applications and obtaining technical support.
