 FCC  WIRELINE  COMPETITION  BUREAU  ANNOUNCES  PERSONNEL  ACTION 
 Aaron  Goldschmidt  Named  Assistant  Division  Chief  of  the  Pricing  Policy  Division 
 Washington,  DC  –  Today,  Dorothy  Attwood,  Bureau  Chief  of  the  Federal  Communications  Commission’s  (FCC)  Wireline  Competition  Bureau,  made  the  following  personnel  announcement. 


 Aaron  Goldschmidt  has  been  named  Assistant  Division  Chief  of  the  Pricing  Policy  Division  (formerly  the  Competitive  Pricing  Division)  of  the  Wireline  Competition  Bureau.  Mr. 
 Goldschmidt  joined  the  division  in  April  1996.  Mr.  Goldschmidt  was  the  team  leader  on  the  CALLS  proceeding,  and  has  also  worked  on  various  components  of  the  access  charge  reform 
 proceeding,  as  well  as  the  pricing  issues  of  the  Kansas/  Oklahoma  and  the  Pennsylvania  section  271  Orders.  Prior  to  joining  the  division,  he  worked  in  the  Auctions  Division  of  the  Wireless 
 Telecommunications  Bureau.  He  started  at  the  FCC  in  November  1993  as  an  attorney  in  the  Cable  Services  Division  of  the  Mass  Media  Bureau. 


 Before  joining  the  FCC,  Mr.  Goldschmidt  clerked  for  Chief  Justice  Rosemary  Barkett  at  the  Florida  Supreme  Court.  He  received  a  B.  A.  in  Mathematics  from  Cornell  University  and  a  J.  D. 
 with  honors  from  Florida  State  University.
