Application to modify the conditions of its authorization for its nationwide high frequency locating, monitoring and telemetering system, to increase overall system capacity, and to allow application for renewal prior to adoption of final rules governing this type of operation ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) File No. D145266 Call Sign: WPKU683 ERRATA Adopted: June 25, 2002 Released: June 26, 2002 1. On March 7, 2002, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau released an Order, DA 02- 545, granting in part the captioned application (Terion Order). The present order corrects a few inadvertent errors and omissions in the Terion Order. 2. Condition 11 (on page two of the attachment to the Terion Order) states that the total number of channels must not exceed “914 (equivalent to a total authorized spectrum of 2.742 MHz).” To be consistent with paragraphs two and ten of the Terion Order, however, Condition 11 should have stated that the total number of channels must not exceed “954 (equivalent to a total authorized spectrum of 2.862 MHz).” The Terion Order also unintentionally omitted eleven carrier frequencies from the attached carrier frequency list. As a result, the released list contains only 943 carrier frequencies instead of the intended 954. The following are the omitted carrier frequencies (in kiloHertz) that should have appeared on the list: 8055 8058 8061 9081 9084 9087 9090 9093 9096 9099 9102 3. In paragraph six of the Terion Order, the Bureau incorrectly referred to the Interdepartment Radio Advisory Committee (IRAC) as the “Interdepartmental Radio Advisory 1 Federal Communications Commission DA 02- 1486 Council” and incorrectly stated that the IRAC coordinates the licensing of shared government / non- government frequency allocations. The IRAC coordinates the use of shared government / non- government frequency allocations. William W. Kunze Chief, Commercial Wireless Division Wireless Telecommunications Bureau 2
