SAT- STA- 20020711- 00099 E PanAmSat Licensee Corp. has filed a request for Special Temporary Authority for up to 180 days, commencing on August 15, 2002, to: (1) relocate PAS- 9 from 58.1° W. L. to 26.1° E. L.; and (2) operate the C- band payload and TT& C frequencies on the spacecraft at 26.1° E. L. PanAmSat is operating PAS- 9 as an in- orbit spare at 58.1° W. L. pursuant to an STA. PanAmSat will not operate the communications payload on PAS- 9 during its relocation; only the TT& C payload will be in use at that time. At 26.1° E. L., PAS- 9 will provide back- up and supplemental capacity for Arabsat 2A. INFORMATIVE SAT- PDR- 20020425- 00071 SES Americom, Inc.
