 ERRATUM

 By  the  Chief,  Office  of  Engineering  and  Technology: 
 1.  On  August  5,  2002,  the  Commission  released  an  Order,  DA  02-  1872,  in  the  above  captioned  proceeding.  This  erratum  corrects  the  following  minor  errors  to  the  Table  of  Frequency  Allocation. 


 (1)  In  the  International  Table  of  Frequency  Allocations  for  the  band  71-  74  GHz,  change  “FIXED-SATELLITE  (Earth-  to-  space)”  and  “MOBILE-  SATELLITE  (Earth-  to-  space)”  to  “FIXED-SATELLITE 
 (space-  to-  Earth)”  and  “MOBILE-  SATELLITE  (space-  to-  Earth)”,  respectively. 
 (2)  In  footnotes  US373  and  US374,  change  “S5.43”  to  “5.  43”. 
 (3)  Footnote  US356  is  revised  and  added  to  the  amendatory  text,  to  read  as  follows: 
 US356  In  the  band  13.75-  14  GHz,  an  earth  station  in  the  fixed-  satellite  service  shall  have  a  minimum  antenna  diameter  of  4.5  m  and  the  e.  i.  r.  p.  of  any  emission  should  be  at  least 
 68  dBW  and  should  not  exceed  85  dBW.  In  addition,  the  e.  i.  r.  p.,  averaged  over  one  second,  radiated  by  a  station  in  the  radiolocation  service  towards  the  geostationary-satellite 
 orbit  shall  not  exceed  59  dBW.  Receiving  space  stations  in  the  fixed-  satellite  service  shall  not  claim  protection  from  radiolocation  transmitting  stations  operating  in 
 accordance  with  the  United  States  Table  of  Frequency  Allocations.  ITU  Radio  Regulations  No.  5.43A  does  not  apply. 


 (4)  Footnote  NG143  is  revised  and  added  to  the  amendatory  text,  to  read  as  follows: 
 NG143  In  the  band  11.7-  12.2  GHz,  protection  from  harmful  interference  shall  be  afforded  to  transmissions  from  space  stations  not  in  conformance  with  ITU  Radio 
 Regulation  5.488  only  if  the  operations  of  such  space  stations  impose  no  unacceptable  constraints  on  operations  or  orbit  locations  of  space  stations  in  conformance  with  5.488.
