(SES AMERICOM) has filed an application for modification of its license for the AMC- 6 fixed- satellite space station. Specifically, SES AMERICOM requests reassignment of AMC- 6 from the 72º W. L. orbital location to the 101º W. L. orbital location upon the successful launch and entry into operation at 72º W. L. of the AMC- 9 spacecraft. The 101º W. L. orbital location is already assigned to SES AMERICOM and is currently occupied by the AMC- 4 spacecraft. SES AMERICOM will seek Commission authority to relocate AMC- 4 in a subsequent filing.
