 SES  Americom,  Inc.  amends  its  modification  application  (File  No.  SAT-  MOD-  20021127-  00232)  for  AMC-  6  to  seek  authority  for 
 extended  Ku-  band  operations  (13.75-  14.0  GHz  and  11.45-  11.7  GHz  bands)  and  South  American  coverage.

 ASTROLINK  International  LLC  has  filed  an  application  for  modification  of  its  Ka-  band  satellite  system  in  the  fixed  satellite  service. 
 ASTROLINK  seeks  authority  to  relinquish:  (1)  two  of  its  five  orbital  locations;  (2)  the  right  to  place  a  second  satellite  at  two  orbital 
 locations;  and  (3)  its  authority  to  operate  inter-  satellite  links.  In  addition,  Astrolink  proposes  to  make  certain  technical  changes  to 
 the  configuration  and  capability  of  its  satellites. 


 Petition  for  Declaratory  Ruling 
 Hispasat  SAT-  PDR-  20020208-  00016  P 


 On  January  30,  2003,  Hispasat  requested  a  waiver  of  the  Commission's  full  frequency  reuse  requirements  for  FSS  satelites,  as  part  of 
 Hispasat's  Petition  for  Declaratory  Ruling  to  Add  Hispasat-  1B  Satellite  at  30  Degrees  W.  L.  to  the  Commission's  Permitted  Space 
 Station  List,  that  was  filed  on  February  2,  2002.
