C. – Today, William F. Maher, Bureau Chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireline Competition Bureau, made the following personnel announcement. Diane Law Hsu has been named Deputy Chief of the Telecommunications Access Policy Division, with responsibility for contribution methodology and advanced services. Ms. Law Hsu has been Acting Deputy Chief of the Telecommunications Access Policy Division since July 1, 2002. She rejoined the FCC as an Attorney Advisor in the Telecommunications Access Policy Division in November 2001, handling issues relating to the definition of services supported by universal service, contribution methodology and advanced services. Before rejoining the FCC, Ms. Law Hsu served as a regulatory and commercial attorney with Lucent Technologies. After graduating from law school, Ms. Law Hsu worked for the FCC in the Office of General Counsel, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, and the Common Carrier Bureau. Ms. Law Hsu covered spectrum auction and universal service contribution methodology issues. Ms. Law Hsu received her J. D. from Harvard Law School in 1994 and her B.
