 AUDREY  SPIVACK  NAMED  ASSOCIATE  DIRECTOR  OF  THE  OFFICE  OF  MEDIA  RELATIONS 


 Washington,  DC  –  Audrey  Spivack  has  been  named  Associate  Director  of  the  FCC’s  Office  of  Media  Relations,  (OMR)  and  will  be  responsible  for  supervising  and  implementing 
 day-  to-  day  operations  of  OMR,  and  the  public  release  of  FCC  notices  and  releases. 
 Ms.  Spivack  has  worked  at  the  FCC  since  1976.  Most  recently,  she  has  served  as  Public  Affairs  Specialist  in  OMR  and  its  predecessor,  the  Office  of  Public  Affairs  (OPA).  From  1988  to 
 1994  she  served  as  Assistant  Chief  of  the  News  Media  Division  of  OPA.  Before  joining  the  FCC,  Ms.  Spivack  worked  at  the  Federal  Trade  Commission. 


 She  received  a  B.  S.  in  Business  Administration  from  George  Mason  University,  Fairfax,  Va. 
 David  Fiske,  Director  of  OMR  said,  “Audrey  Spivack’s  promotion  to  the  Associate  Director  position  in  OMR  is  a  recognition  of  the  major  role  she  has  played,  as  a  long-  time  FCC 
 veteran  in  designing  and  carrying  out  FCC  policies  for  the  release  of  documents  and  information  to  the  media  and  to  the  public  at  large.”
