On March 3, 2003, the Commission released a Report and Order, FCC 03- 39, in the above captioned proceeding. This erratum makes the following corrections: (1) In the text of the Report and Order, references to “U. S. Government” have been changed to “Federal Government” and references to “non- U. S.” and “non- U. S. Government” have been changed to “non- Federal Government.” (2) Appendix B has been modified as follows: (a) Amendatory instruction number 2( c) states that footnote US236 is to be removed (instead of revised) and adds a statement that footnote US342 is to be revised. (b) In Section 2. 106, the Table of Frequency Allocations (“ Table”), the following modifications have been made: (i) On page 4 of the Table, in the United States Table of Frequency Allocations, international footnote 472A has been replaced with international footnote 5.82 in the band 435- 495 kHz and international footnote 472 has been replaced with international footnote 5.83 in the band 495- 505 kHz. (ii) On page 5 of the Table, in the band 510- 525 kHz of the United States Table of Frequency Allocations, international footnote 474 has been replaced with international footnote 5.84. (iii) On page 14 of the Table, in the band 13360- 13410 kHz of the Federal Government Table of Frequency Allocations, international footnote 5.149 has been replaced with United States footnote US342. (iv) On page 21 of the Table, the heading has been changed from “25175- 28000 kHz (HF)” to “26175- 28000 kHz (HF).” (c) After page 21 of the Table and before the heading “UNITED STATES (US) FOOTNOTES,” five stars have been inserted in order to convey the proper amendatory instructions. 1 Federal Communications Commission (d) In the list of United States footnotes, the text of the following footnotes has been modified as follows: (i) In United States footnotes US25, US82, US104, US225, US231, US238, US281, US282, US283, US298, US321, US340, and US367, “U. S. Government” and “non-U. S. Government” has been changed to “Federal Government” and “non- Federal Government,” respectively. (ii) In United States footnote US281, “International Table of Frequency Allocations” has been changed to “Table of Frequency Allocations.” (iii) United States footnote US18 has been revised to read as follows: US18 Navigation aids in the U. S. and its insular areas in the bands 9- 14 kHz, 90- 110 kHz, 190- 415 kHz, 510- 535 kHz, and 2700- 2900 MHz are normally operated by the Federal Government. However, authorizations may be made by the FCC for non- Federal Government operations in these bands subject to the conclusion of appropriate arrangements between the FCC and the Federal agencies concerned and upon special showing of need for service which the Federal Government is not yet prepared to render. (iv) Footnote US236 has been removed from the list of United States footnotes. (v) In United States footnote US342, the band 25550- 25670 kHz has been added. 2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that this Erratum IS ISSUED pursuant to Section 0.241 of the Commission’s rules on delegated authority, 47 C. F.
