SAT- STA- 20030327- 00041 E SES AMERICOM, Inc. has filed a request for special temporary authority to permit it to test its AMC- 9 spacecraft at 81.9º W. L. for a period of up to sixty days following launch. SES AMERICOM asserts that temporary operation of AMC- 9 at 81.9º W. L. will in no way interfere with, or adversely affect, the operation of any other carrier’s spacecraft. SES AMERICOM seeks expedited action on this request because AMC- 9 is scheduled for launch on April 28, 2003. NOTE: Comments on this request may be filed on or before April 11, 2003.
