 FCC  ANNOUNCES  TEMPORARY  CLOSURE  OF 
 12  th  STREET  BUILDING  ENTRANCE 


 On  Tuesday,  July  1,  2003,  the  12  th  Street  entrance  to  the  Federal  Communications  Commission’s  (FCC)  headquarters  building,  located  at  445  12  th  Street,  SW,  in 
 Washington,  DC  will  be  closed  due  to  construction.  It  will  remain  closed  for  approximately  5  weeks,  or  until  about  August  7  th  . 


 While  the  12  th  Street  entrance  is  closed,  the  public  must  use  entrance  to  the  FCC  on  Maine  Avenue.  Pedestrians  may  cross  12  th  Street  at  Maryland  Avenue,  walk  down  12  th 
 Street  opposite  the  building,  and  cross  12  th  Street  at  Maine  Avenue  to  enter  on  that  side  of  the  building. 


 Parkers  may  access  the  public  garage  using  the  ramp  from  Maryland  Avenue.
