JACKLER NAMED LEGAL ADVISOR TO THE CHIEF OF THE CONSUMER AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS BUREAU Washington, DC – Leon J. Jackler has been named Legal Advisor to the Chief of the Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB). In that capacity Mr. Jackler will provide legal and policy counsel to the Bureau Chief and senior staff on wireless, technology, and international matters. He will also be responsible for coordination with other bureaus and offices at the Commission. K. Dane Snowden, Chief of CGB, said, “I am delighted that Leon has joined the bureau. He brings with him a wealth of experience in telecom issues and will be a tremendous asset to us, particularly in the wireless and technology areas.” Mr. Jackler previously served as a staff attorney in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, first in the Commercial Wireless Division and subsequently in the Broadband Division.
