 FCC  Closes  Offices 


 Due  to  adverse  weather  conditions,  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  closed  at  3:  30  p.  m.  on  Tuesday,  January  27,  2004.  According  to  Section  1.4(  e)(  1)  of  the  Commissions  rules, 
 47  C.  F.  R.  Section  1.4(  e)(  1),  all  filings,  paper  and  electronic,  that  were  due  on  January  27  are  due  on  the  Commission’s  next  official  business  day  after  closing.  In  addition,  January  27  does  not 
 count  in  computing  filing  periods  that  are  less  than  seven  days.  See  47  C.  F.  R.  Section  1.4(  g).
