The NPRM asks that comments and replies be filed within 30 and 45 days, respectively, after publication in the Federal Register. The NPRM and Further Notice were published in the Federal Register on March 31, 2004. Therefore, comments for the NPRM are due April 30, 2004, and reply comments are due May 17, 2004. The Commission also released a Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (Further Notice) seeking comment on two possible revisions to rules implementing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The Further Notice, concerning both a limited safe harbor under the TCPA for calls to wireless numbers and the required frequency for telemarketers to access the national do- not- call registry, asks that comments and replies be filed within 15 and 25 days, respectively, after publication in the Federal Register. Comments for the Further Notice are due April 15, 2004, and reply comments are due April 26, 2004. Parties are advised to file comments separately in the appropriate dockets (CG Docket No. 04- 53, concerning the CAN- SPAM Act and CG Docket No. 02- 278, concerning the TCPA issues) according to the instructions provided in the NPRM.
