 The  applications  listed  below  have  been  found,  upon  initial  review,  to  be  acceptable  for  filing.  The  Commission  reserves  the  right  to  return  any  of  the  applications  if,  upon  further  examination,  it  is  determined  the  application  is  not  in

 SES  AMERICOM,  Inc.  (SES  AMERICOM)  has  filed  a  request  for  special  temporary  authority  (STA)  to  permit  it  to  test  its 
 AMC-  11  spacecraft  at  146º  W.  L.  for  a  period  of  up  to  180  days  following  launch.  AMC-  11  is  a  C-  band  replacement  satellite  for 
 Satcom  C-  3  at  131º  W.  L.  See  SAT-  LOA-  20020104-  00002  (launch  authority  granted  Dec.  29,  2003).  SES  AMERICOM  seeks 
 expedited  action  on  this  request  because  AMC-  11  is  scheduled  for  launch  on  May  19,  2004.
