TIGNOR NAMED LEGAL ADVISOR TO THE CHIEF OF THE CONSUMER & GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS BUREAU Washington, DC – Jeffrey H. Tignor has been named Legal Advisor to the Chief of the Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB). In that capacity Mr. Tignor will provide legal and policy counsel to the Bureau Chief and senior staff on media and intergovernmental affairs matters. He will also be responsible for coordination with other bureaus and offices at the Commission. K. Dane Snowden, Chief of CGB, said, “I am delighted that Jeffrey has joined the bureau. He brings with him a wealth of experience in telecom issues and will be a tremendous asset to us, particularly as we increase our efforts in the intergovernmental affairs area.” Mr. Tignor previously served as a staff attorney in the Competition Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau. Before coming to the Commission he was an attorney with Dickstein, Shapiro, Morin and Oshinsky where he specialized in telecommunications issues. He received his J.
