C. – I am pleased the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Ad Hoc Committee on Critical Infrastructure and the U. S. Department of Homeland Security are co- hosting the “Interdependencies Working Meeting” in partnership with the FCC and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission June 7- 8. At this two- day event, federal, state, and local entities involved in critical infrastructure protection and homeland security are addressing the interdependence among energy, water, and telecommunications services. This coordination is essential as we work to ensure the continued security and robustness of our respective industries in times of emergency.
