 SATELLITE  COMMUNICATIONS  SERVICES 


 The  applications  listed  herein  have  been  found,  upon  initial  review,  to  be  acceptable  for  filing.  The  Commission  reserves  the  right  to  return  any  of  the  applications  if,  upon  further  examination,  it  is  determined  they  are  defective  and  not  in

 MCI  WORLDCOM  Network  Services,  Inc  ('MCI')  has  filed  a  request  for  an  extension  of  its  Special  Temporary  Authorization  ('STA'), 
 File  No.  SES-  STA-  20040311-  00363,  from  the  current  expiration  date  of  9/  10/  2004  to  3/  10/  2005.  MCI  is  operating  under  the  current 
 STA  while  its  modification  application  to  add  Intersputnik  Express  3A  as  a  point  of  communication  is  pending  before  the  Commission.
