L. for a period of up to 60 days following launch. AMC- 12 is a C- band replacement satellite that will operate at 37.5º W. L. in the 5925- 6425 and 3700- 4200 MHz frequency bands. Columbia states temporary operation of AMC- 12 at 67.5º W. L. will permit testing to occur without disruption to existing customers at 37.5º W.
