The new MyIBFS consists of three new e- filing modules as well as features, functions and forms found in the existing IBFS system. The new e- filing modules include a new MyIBFS home page, account management module, and the new 312 EZ form. At the time the MyIBFS system goes live on October 26, 2004, the use of Form 312 EZ by routine C- and Ku- Band earth station license applicants will be voluntary. At a later date, after MyIBFS customers gain experience using the Form 312 EZ, the International Bureau will announce its mandatory use, in accordance with the Third Space Station Reform Order. 1 MYIBFS SYSTEM KICKOFF PARTY To celebrate the launch of MyIBFS and to thank the members of the telecommunications industry and the public, who participated in the system’s requirements and design phases, the International Bureau plans to hold a MyIBFS kickoff party on October 26, 2004, from 11: 00 a. m. – 12: 00 noon in the Commission Meeting Room at the FCC Headquarters facility located at 445 12 th St., SW., Washington, DC. 20554. All users of the MyIBFS system are invited to attend. MYIBFS TRAINING 1 Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, 2000 Biennial Regulatory Review -- Streamlining and Other Revisions of Part 25 of the Commission's Rules Governing the Licensing of, and Spectrum Usage by, Satellite Network Earth Stations and Space Stations, Third Report and Order and Second Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in IB Docket Nos. 02- 34 and 00- 248, 18 FCC Rcd 13486 (2003) (Third Space Station Reform Order). 1 2 The Bureau plans to conduct formal training on the use of the new, enhanced IBFS system, MyIBFS, including completing, filing, and tracking Form 312 EZ applications. These sessions can be conducted either on site at the FCC Headquarters facility or at the user’s facility (within the District of Columbia area). These sessions may prove helpful to users, who are unable to attend the formal MyIBFS training discussed above.
