The third sentence of paragraph 221, regarding requirements to protect against 2 nd and 3 rd harmonic emission interference in the Radio Navigation Satellite Service frequency bands, should read as follows: “These requirements would apply only to digital LPTV and TV translator stations that operate on TV channels for which such harmonics are generated (i. e., channels 22- 24, 32- 38, and 65- 69.” 2. The second sentence of the first indented subparagraph of paragraph 221 should read as follows: “This special requirement applies specifically to digital LPTV and translator stations operating on channels 22- 24, 32- 38, and 65- 69.” 3. Paragraph 14 of Appendix B should read as follows: “Section 74.707 is amended by revising paragraph (e) to read as follows:” 4. Paragraph 24 of Appendix B, § 74.794( b), should read as follows: “( b) In addition to meeting the emission attenuation requirements of the simple or stringent mask (including attenuation of radio frequency harmonics), digital low power TV and TV translator stations authorized to operate on TV channels 22- 24, (518- 536 MHz), 32- 36 (578- 608 MHz), 38 (614- 620 MHz), and 65- 69 (776- 806 MHz) must provide specific “out of band” protection to Radio Navigation Satellite Services in the bands: L5 (1164- 1215 MHz); L2 (1215- 1240 MHz) and L1 (1559- 1610 MHz).” * * * * * 1 Federal Communications Commission DA 04- 3519 2 5.
