INFORMATIVE S2632 SAT- STA- 20050506- 00095 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC On May 19, 2005, DIRECT Enterprises, LLC filed a letter amending its request for special temporary authority to operate the DIRECTV 8 satellite. The initial request asked for authority to operate the DIRECTV 8 satellite for (1) TT& C functions at and during transit between the 102.8° W. L., 99.2° W. L., and 101° W. L. orbital locations, and (2) for in- orbit testing at the 99.2° W. L. orbital location for a period of up to 18 days ending June 23, 2005. (See Public Notice, Report No. SAT- 00291 (May 13, 2005).) DIRECTV withdraws the in- orbit testing portion of its request, and reiterates the request to provide TT& C function at and during transit between the 102.8° W. L., 99.2° W. L., and 101° W. L. orbital locations in the following frequency bands: 17307 MHz uplink and 12203.25 and 12203.75 MH downlink.
