C. 20554 In the Matter of Amendment of Parts 2 and 90 of the Commission's Rules to Provide for Narrowband Private Land Mobile Radio Channels in the 150.05- 150.8 MHz, 162- 174 MHz, and 406.1- 420 MHz Bands that are Allocated for Federal Government Use ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ET Docket No. 04- 243 ERRATUM Adopted: May 25, 2005 Released: May 25, 2005 By the Office of Engineering and Technology: On March 11, 2005, the Commission released a Report and Order, FCC 05- 69, in the above-captioned proceeding. By this Erratum, we make the following corrections to conform the text of the Report and Order to the rules adopted therein: 1. In paragraph 5, the second sentence of the last bullet under the ‘Primary Operations’ heading is revised to read as follows: Any new SVRS system that begins operation after the effective date of this Report and Order must employ narrowband equipment. 2. In paragraph 50, the fifth and sixth sentences are revised to read as follows: As previously noted, the LoJack system is the only SVRS system currently operating on the frequency 173.075 MHz in the United States. Because any new SVRS system will have to deploy new equipment to begin service, all new SVRS systems will be required to employ narrowband equipment without the benefit of a transition period. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that this Erratum IS ISSUED pursuant to Section 0.241 of the Commission’s Rules on delegated authority, 47 C. F. R. § 0.241. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Edmond J.
