 FCC  TO  BE  OPEN  SATURDAY,  SEPTEMBER  24,  2005  AND  SUNDAY,  SEPTEMBER  25,  2005  IN  RESPONSE  TO  POSSIBLE 
 HURRICANE  RITA  RELIEF  AND  RESTORATION  EFFORTS 
 Washington  –  The  Federal  Communications  Commission  (FCC)  today  announced  that  its  offices  providing  emergency  telecommunications  service  authorizations  will  be  open  on  Saturday,  September  24, 
 2005,  and  Sunday,  September  25,  2005,  to  facilitate  possible  relief  and  reconstruction  efforts  that  may  be  necessary  by  telecommunications  providers  affected  by  Hurricane  Rita. 


 For  Saturday,  September  24,  2005,  and  Sunday,  September  25,  2005,  providers  needing  emergency  STA  authorizations,  or  needing  to  consult  FCC  bureaus  and  offices  about  their  recovery 
 efforts,  can  reach  FCC  personnel  between  the  hours  of  9:  00  AM  and  5:  00  PM  at  the  following  numbers:
