Closed Captioning of Video Programming, Telecommunications for the Deaf, Inc. Petition for Rulemaking, CG Docket No. 05- 231, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, FCC 05- 142 (July 21, 2005). Pursuant to the NPRM, comments relating to the rulemaking are due 45 days after the NPRM is published in the Federal Register, and reply comments are due 60 days following publication in the Federal Register. Reply comments are filed after the comments are received, and offer an opportunity to “reply” to the original comments. The NPRM was published in the Federal Register on September 26, 2005 (70 FR 56150). Therefore, comments are due on November 10, 2005, and reply comments are due on November 25, 2005. Comments should be filed according to the instructions provided in the NPRM.
