 CHAIRMAN  KEVIN  J.  MARTIN  ANNOUNCES  THE  DIRECTOR  OF  THE  OFFICE  OF  LEGISLATIVE  AFFAIRS 
 Today,  Federal  Communications  Commission  Chairman  Kevin  J.  Martin  announced  that  Kevin  Washington  will  serve  as  the  Commission’s  Director  of  the  Office  of  Legislative  Affairs. 
 Mr.  Washington  comes  to  the  Commission  with  a  background  in  both  the  Legislative  and  Executive  branches.  He  spent  several  years  working  for  two  senior  House  of  Representatives 
 Leadership  offices  in  legislative  policy  and  as  a  press  spokesman,  and  he  most  recently  served  as  Deputy  Director  of  the  Department  of  Education’s  No  Child  Left  Behind  Office  of 
 Communications  and  Outreach.  Mr.  Washington  has  a  B.  A.  from  Southwest  Texas  State  University.
