ISP- AMD- 20061116- 00016 P Trident Global Communications LLC (Trident) and PetroCom License Corporation (PetroCom) (together, the "Petitioners") amend their petition for declaratory ruling, ISP- PDR- 20060919- 00012, filed pursuant to Section 310( b)( 4) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, to request that any ruling issued by the Commission in connection with the Petition also encompass PetroCom's ability to acquire and hold Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) licenses in addition to licenses in the radio services identified in the Petition as originally filed. The Petitioners report that, in the Commission's recently- concluded Auction 66 of AWS licenses, PetroCom was the high bidder for two AWS licenses, see DA 06- 2179 (rel. Oct 27, 2006). The Petition, as initially filed, was placed on Public Notice, Report No. TEL- 01077NS, rel. Oct. 16, 2006. The Petition requests a determination that the public interest does not prohibit Trident's acquisition of PetroCom given the current level of indirect foreign ownership in Trident by Kactus Investment Corporation, a Cayman Islands Corporation.
