The Federal Communications Commission today announced further details of its previously announced Nashville field hearing regarding media ownership (see announcements dated November 14 and December 1). The hearing format will enable members of the public to participate via “open microphone.” There will be two panels, each followed by a period for public comment. The first panel will examine issues affecting the music recording industry.
